He’s developed a unique, colorful style and has been doing murals for some of the biggest companies in the world. His clients include Nike, ESPN Gameday, RedBull, Adobe, and MailChimp. George tells us about how he developed his style, how he learned to be good at making murals, and why he feels like he makes work for everyday people. George is also part of the Midtown Alliance Heart of the Arts residency in midtown Atlanta. This was recorded in JBarber’s residency studio. We talk about how he’s using his space. Using his instruments of design, illustration, and production, he employs a playful childlike spirit to engage the inner-child we all have. Currently, he is the Creative Director of Foster, a studio-collective striving to make people unafraid to play.
