Print Practice w/ printmaker Chloe Alexander
Studio Noize and Pine Copper Lime are teaming up with the good folks at Print Austin to bring you interviews from the artist in their 8th annual international juried exhibition, The Contemporary Print: 5 x 5. This week we talk to Atlanta printmaker Chloe Alexander about her journey into printmaking. We begin talking about her early work in high school and go into her latest projects, including a residency at the Creatives Projects and Stay Home Gallery. She tells us how her time at Atlanta Printmakers Studio helped her find her voice and reveals her default subject when she can’t think of anything to do. Chloe talks about her mixed media prints and what attracts her to making multiples. It’s all printmaking, and you know we love that, right here on the Noize!
